Developed system to connect students interested in different parts of the filmmaking process, i.e. camera work, writing, acting, editing, etc. Furthered school newspaper video journalism initiative.

Local history documentary series

Worked alongside the Irvington Historical Society to produce a series of films on local history. In the process of connecting the historical society with the Irvington High School newspaper for future students to be able to continue to research town history.

Presented the documentaries to elementary school students and led a Q and A about them and local history.

Commemorate, an Irvington advocate organization, seeks to commemorate the enslaved Africans who lived and labored in what is now known as Irvington. The organization reached out requesting a film to honor the life and times former village resident Madam C.J. Walker. This project is currently in development.
O’Hara Nature Center Educational Content

Created one film instructing viewers how to build pollinator hotels and describing their role in the Irvington ecosystem. Additional films centered on nature center research studies in development.

Leader in research on the Irvington Woods ecosystem health. Shared research information in community events at the center.
